1st Blog on Saturday! O... and 1st trip to NYC!!!!

WOW THIS WEEK ROCKED!!! I WAS SO BLESSED!

Here the layout of what went down!
Sunday- We had a Show with this small Methodist church that Larry (UL) had performed at a lot in the past they were really sweet and the Show Went really really well!

Monday- The Pastor that we stayed with on Sunday let us stay another day and we spent ALL days working on plays with lots of rehearsal! Which is so my favorite part cuz its when we really get down to the acting and getting better at what we do! So we did that the whole day and it was lots of Fun!

Tuesday- A Prison Show with a Youth Correctional, the ages of 17-25! It went really well with the all day rehearsal behind us! There only about 20 guys that showed up but i think they really got the message, we focused the plays around forgiveness with others and ur self! The chapel was really nice and funny! We are going back there later in the mission its going to be our 2nd to last show for the mission! So we will see if more come then!
Then after the show we went back to our host home and picked up our stuff and head for.... QUEENS NEW YORK!!!!! We drove to our host home to stay the next two nights, with two older twin sisters that are the sweetest funnest old women! We had lots of fun with them!

Wednesday aka THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!- We awoke at 8am and got ready for the day and headed to catch the train to MANHATTAN!!! We toke the train to "Penn Station" and started the walk to "time Square"! We got there and it was Awesome so many lights! Then we walked to the "theater district" and saw all the shows going up! Then we hit up the "5th ave" went to "Saks" (not my thing but Suzy wanted to go)! Then went from there to the "Rockeffeller Plz" and saw all the flags! After that we walked to "Central Park" where i got A HOT DOG at a "stand" and had my lunch there! We were walking through taking lots of pics when it started Snowing out of NoWhere! It was so pretty and to perfect to snow while were in "Central Park"! We walked all the way to the "METROPOLITAN Museum of Art"! When we got there we were soaking wet but they still let us in where we spent the next 2 hours! Then We met up with Suzy's friend at a places called "Alices TEA Cup" where we spent the next Hour or so! Then from there we went to "Betsy Johnson Store" that i had been wanting to see all day! I Love her clothes! Then from there we got Lost on the way to the subway ... ya we got lost in New York city! But we asked this nice guy who took us stright there! So we took the subway to "Penn Station" where we split from Suzy's friends and headed back up to go Shopping! Where we spent the next 2 hours shopping our hearts out! I got 2 shirts and lots of post cards, so not til our heart where happy but as far as our money takes us! lol! Anyway from there we headed back down to "Penn Station" and walked around down there (it's like a mall, they have a K-Mart) and then caught our train back to QUEENS! Were we went stright to bed my FEET HAVE BEEN KILLING ME!

Thurday- We left Queens..(Tear) and headed to another part of New Jersey where we spent the next of the day Learning Lines!

Friday- We spent all day on lines and Paper work!

Saturday/Today- Started the day with Cleaning our Van aka House all morning then had lunch and headed out to Another part of New Jersey to PD Housing! We have a Show 2morow where we our only doing two plays!

SO THAT WAS OU GREAT WEEK! Its the slowist week we will have for away! Next week we have a show everyday and i have a very long play that i have to learn! So keep the prayers going on me getting these plays down!

Sounds like fun instead or work. Winter in New York, I must say that hasn’t been your mom’s or my vacation trip. One day we may go up and see that place but only for a summer weekend. These bones of ours don’t do cold as much.

Sounds like you had a great day even if your feet were "killing you". Is there a site where we can see more of your pictures?
Did you ever recieve our birthday mail?
