Lots of Prayers Needed for 2morow!

Wow another very busy week for the Metropolis Unit! We had a total of 10 shows this week it was supposed to be 11 but our Friday show we had to cancel! But here the lay of the week before i get to heavy into that!

Sunday- Wow,Sunday was such a blessing we had nothing Booked until we started making some calls and on Saturday around noon Larry made a call to the last church, he was just gonna give up after this call! When he shocking enough got a pastor just about to leave his office! The Pastor loved the idea of us coming, but wasn't sure if we could cover his sermon on Jesus In the Wilderness being Tempted! Which was awesome cuz we have a play that we did on Wednesday that is just about that, we told him that about the play and he was just in awe! So to make the story short we came and did the show i have not seen a SN Playdate fit any better yet! So it was for sure a God Thing! We also got a huge offering and a flat rate of a lot money that we normally don't get!

Monday-We rehearsed all day for our school shows coming up! Then Headed out to Queens, NY to stay with the twins sisters again, the school we were doing was right down the street!

Tuesday- More rehearsed and some PR! Which i got a booking for a nursing Community Center! Yaaa, thats like my 1st real booking of the mission! Then Bad news Larry my (UL) got sick and is still not feeling well!

Wednesday- We had our 1st School show which we did the 7th and 8th graders! So we did the same show 2 times about a 80 min Show with each of them!

Thursday- We did our 2nd day of School shows starting with the 5th graders another 80 min show and then did 3 shows with 3 different 6th grade classes about 80 mins each again! But around the 3rd show Larry voice started to go out on him! So that was very different for him try to get the attention of some crazy 6th graders with No voices! But after the shows we headed back out to Jersey to stay with some host for just 1 night!

Friday- We were supposed to do a nursing Home Show and A Workshop with them as well! Which would have been very different doing a workshop with people that are in wheel chairs and over the age of 80! But Larry Had no Voice at all so we had to call and say sorry we can't do it! Which Larry has only done like 3 times in his 30 something years of CP! So u know it was bad! So we called the show off and headed to some different host to see if we could get some rest becuz we have been going Non-stop for two weeks now and we were all running on Low! So we tried to rest, but i have a play that i am doing on Sunday that is about 6 pages of just me speaking really! I worked my butt off on that, while Larry and Suzy Slept and tired to get feeling better!

Saturday- Larry has a voices again so our show for Sunday is still on! He is still not feeling his best and his voices is not all the way back yet! We slept in till around 10am and then rehearsed as best we could! We then headed out to a different part of New Jersey to where our PD was and rehearsed so more at the church! Now were at our PD housing and Larry not feeling to good again the voices keeps going in and Out! SO PLEASE PRAY FOR 2MOROW THAT LARRY HAS A VOCIES AND GETS FEELING BETTER! WE ALSO HAVE ANOTHER FULL WEEK OF SCHOOL SHOWS THIS COMING WEEK AS WHILE!

So please keep the Metropolis Unit in Your Prayers this week for our Health that whatever Larry got that Suzy and Me don't get now too! Thanks and Write to u all next week Same Day Same Time!

Much LOVES+HUGS!
-SAM!

Hang in there, Sam.....Sorry to hear you got that ugly flu....it's awful to try to work when you feel like crap. I've done that before, so try to get as much rest as you can to let your body heal faster....praying for you! Love,
Aunt Lori

Now you are nearly to the middle of your busy week. Hope and pray all is going well for you and your group, and no more voice or other health problems. Take care.
