Any Who, back to what hapened this week! Like i said it wore me out! We had a Playdate everyday but 2day!
Sunday- We went to the Congregational Church of Randolph, NJ! Wow what a show and church some churches u come upon ur heart just breaks for them! They at one time were a church of 150 and growing but when we perfromed there was 12 people there! Note that it was snowing but still u could just tell with the people in the church they had this sadness and weight on them! So just prayers for them! But when we perfromed there we stayed with a couple that had a Barn House! Its was so cool to here how they fixed it up, it was split into 3 parts to! Between there house which was 3 beds and 1 bath, to a Mother in laws house which was two floors with living and kitchen on the 1st floor and bed and bath on the 2nd, Then they had a little apt area for mission use they called it! It was a really cool places to stay, out of all the places to stay in a Barn house New Jersey was not a places i thought that would happen, Texas more like it!
Monday- Was a Christian Health Care Center! We had so much fun with the Res! They laugh so hard and really enjoyed the show it was the 1st time this mission we had a Great Crowd! One lady told me about her 25 grandchildren! Thats right 25 u did not read that wrong! How would u like that many Birthday cards to send out! hehehe!
Tuesday-Lalnfair House Nursing+Rehab! That went ok.. it wasn't are best show but it always shocks me how God takes mistakes and still works with them and makes them Beautiful! So the Res and Nursing still liked it so much! They would not stop Thanking Us!
Wednesday- Was Ash Wednesday as some of u may know or remember. We did a church Soup dinner theater, which was lots of fun! At 1st Presbyterian Church of Branchville, NJ! That was so cool to see how another branch of Christains look at a Hoilday! We ate, did some worship, did 2 plays, then the pastor spoke a little, did 1 more play, Worshiped a little more,and then had the Lord's Super! It was just a awesome Ash Wednesday services one of the best in my book!
Thursday- Was at Little Brook Nursing Home! That was a different day we went up in "the Country" (thats what they call it, its just some woods on a hill, they don't know what real Country is) in New Jersey! We were ruining about 10 mins late,Traffic! So we run in and the places is about the size of most of ur master bedrooms with about 100 Res living there, the room was really Small the we perfromed in! But it was still a good show but a lot of confusing and steping ontop of eachother and Nurses went on!
Friday- We got to go up to Nyack,NY! To help out an ex-CP'er with a talant show she was apart of. She goes to Alliance Theological Seminary and the talant show was to raise money for there school! We got do to plays with her in them they were more on the Comedy side, the crowd loved it! So that was fun cuz Larry (UL) got to hang out with an old friend and Jordan Davis (my last mission UL) talked a lot about this person and told me i would love them, and i did! hehe
But yupe that was my week! Busy as can be and i gt another one coming up! We have for the next two weeks a School in NYC! We go around to the different grades 6-12 and do talks and play about not doing drugs and stuff! It's a Greek school so it will be somthing really different for me! But i have about 6 new plays i have to do! So please pray for that and also doing Schools is a little werid for me somtimes becuz i'm so close in age to most of the Students! O and also keep in prayers, we have a lot of CP'ers that are sick right now with some bug thats going around about 5 units have someone sick on them! It is really hard to do a 24 hour job when ur sick so just keep that in your prayers!
